blushing all the way home

soph. seventeen years old from sydney. i'm a classical oboist who's probably taller then you. i'm a compeditive perfectionist and i don't like people who lie to me. i listen to country music, play guitar and dance in public. i spend an unnatural amount of time baking. one day i'll be an actor and get to do what i love, while getting paid for it.

Anonymous asked: how long have you been growing your hair for? how do you keep it so nice?! what products do you use? how is it not totally dead!!! i've been trying to grow mine long for like 3 years and it is still only like collar bone length!! so lucky!! xo

oh! um i think it’s been like 3ish years? i didn’t purposely grow out my hair. i have a bit of an irrational fear of hairdressers. not really a fear, i just don’t like them very much. so i just kept putting cuts off. but i trim the ends when i get frustrated with it. i don’t really do anything to it! i only straighten it on select special occasions and i only brush it when it has conditioner in it. i use some random thing called herbal essences long term relationship shampoo, which smells a-mazing and wella conditioner, because it comes in massive bottles and i go through so much of the stuff. long hair, especially mine cause it is thick AND curly is actually a massive effort. i literally cannot wear my hair in a ponytail or on a bun (unless it’s on the top of my head so it supports the weight) for more than a few hours because it gives me a headache. it’s so thick it’s ridiculous. but i love it hehehe :) i heard that some people’s hair follicles just like reach a point and that’s how long the hair will grow to. i haven’t found mine yet haha but i have friends who’s hair won’t grow past a certain point no matter what :) x
